Like our own lives, lying to one another can damage the relationship between two. Which will brings negative effects to both of them.

I fully agree with what you said about the first theme, but not the second one.As you said "the profits must outweight the consequence in order to take the risks",it is totally ture ,but be satisfied with the things we had is not a good idea.In my opinion, life need motivationss, impetus,we need goal. That what make life become life, but what i meant is not about greed.

We have to satisfy what we have, be happy with current situation. There is always a person who is powerful and stronger than us, we cannot compare with people that is in high class, the more we want, complain about current situation, sometimes you will lose what you have now and become worse than before. We should always keep in mind that even though there is always a person who is standing on the higher level, and have the things you don't have, you should look down and see the people who is consider you as their "high level"person, there is always a bunch of these people exist. so, just be satisfy with your current things you have.

This story seems to only be a bedtime story for little kids, but I think the lessons in it is much more important for the adults. The story is telling us to be satisfy with things we have; the profits may not be good enough compare with what we lost in order to get more. It is just like what will happen on us in the future. We will be jealous to what these “better people” have. We will prefer to be the person earned 500,000 dollar per year than 100,000; we may prefer to live like “Jack Ma” instead of live like an ordinary people. However, is that life really suit for us? Can we handle sleep in the airplane every night because we need to be in different countries every day? Can we handle to continue working 48 hours because your competitor has published a new product? I don’t think that can be called “a better life”. Maybe honey is not sweeter than the corn country mouse has eaten, right?
